We are a general, family dentist in Wauconda and we are in need of a motivated, team-oriented dental hygienist to add to our team!

We are an independent practice led by the father-daughter team of Dr. Kevin Quinn and Dr. Kelley Quinn Toth. With over 67 years serving the Wauconda area, we offer a unique work environment that balances decades of clinical experience with modern care.

Duties & Qualifications:

Preventive Care: Perform dental prophylaxis (thorough cleaning) to remove plaque and tartar, and fluoride to prevent cavities.

Patient Assessment: Take, and interpret digital dental radiographs (X-rays).

Oral Health Assessment: Screen for oral diseases, including periodontal charting, checking for decay, and performing oral cancer screenings.

Patient Education: Teach patients proper brushing and flossing techniques and provide nutritional counseling for oral health.

Treatment Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and update dental histories.

Administrative/Clinical Support: Sterilize instruments, set up treatment room.

Licensure: Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program and successful completion of state licensing exams.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to make patients feel comfortable and reduce anxiety during procedures.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and sit for long periods while using tools that require fine motor skills.

Hours:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8am-6pm (no patients from 12-1:30)

Friday 8am-12pm

Saturday 7am-12pm (once a month, and we don't work that Friday)
