Dental Hygienist

We are an established, private family practice in Northfield (Northbrook area). We have a multi-generation patient base that knows they will receive top quality care and extra special TLC.

We strive to provide an excellent patient experience in our office. You will be part of our dental treatment team and provide high quality hygiene services to our patients. We value the quality of care for our patients so you are given ample time and resources to provide great hygiene care to everyone that comes to our office. You will work closely with the doctor to promote comprehensive treatment plans that will improve our patient's periodontal and overall dental health.

Position Information

** Part-time (1-2 days a week). Tuesday OR Thursday 8-6, plus alternate Mondays from 10–2.  Additional days may be possible in the future.

Responsibilities and Duties

** Provide excellent patient care and a fun, friendly patient experience

** Communicate effectively with patients, staff and doctor

** Be a team player to create a smooth and enjoyable patient experience.

** Provide great hygiene services to our patients that will meet or go beyond the standard of care set by the state board and ADA.

** Be efficient and on time. You will help us manage patient flow and we will adjust schedule time/duration accordingly. We strive to seat every patient on time.

** Educate patients on oral hygiene/health/disease as well as procedures and services

** Perform clinical hygiene functions including but not limited to taking/evaluating radiographs, reviewing medical histories and taking blood pressure, adult/child prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, comprehensive treatment planning with doctor, oral hygiene instruction, etc.

** Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend is a plus.
